Raw Equine Centre
Another special one off event, this time at Raw Equine Centre near spalding South Lincs.
Lots of new faces to try their hand at barrel racing and the top 3 points chasers of 2025 also attended.
The updated points totals are below and its pretty close in the barrels and poles. Who will take home the trophies in just a few events time ?

A special one off event down in Hereford for the riders and horses at KC Stables & Rescue Centre.

Barrel Camp & Summer
Show 2025
Over 25 barrel racers and riders attended the Summer Show which was the climax to the annual 4 Strides Barrel Camp. Plenty of fun and games was had by all, along with some valuable training and plenty of time in the saddle. The summer show is always a great time to capitalise on the hi point league table and a great chance to earn some quality points !
Barrel camp will be back in 2026 ! Details soon.....

Mid way thugh the year already and our riders were at it fast and furiously, especially those who were heading out to the USA in a few weeks time for the NBHA Youth & Teen Worl Championships.

A special one off event saw the 4 Strides Barrel Racing staff head to the lovely Pickering Grange Equestrian Centre in Leicestershire. An indoor event on a narrower than usual pattern meant the times were sub 16 seconds !
A great day had by all and its worth remembering that our home venue is just 1 hour further north and we hold events everymonth.

Back on home sand for yet another glorius day in the sun and plenty of barrel racing riders to beat their previous bests !
Alot of riders did indeed break PB's with Pippa dropping into the 19 second bracket and Eloisa smashing hers 3 times in row to a 18.502 !
Honours were shared amongst the fastest barrel time (Eloisa), The fastest pole time (Anna) and the best dressed cowgirl (Honour).
Plenty of points being added to the national league board this weekend. Although there does seem to be a gap being created at the top. Everyone will have to be on their 'A' game to not let the lead become unasailable !
Back in May on May 4th. Don't forget you are invited to party with us at the monthly Barn Dance on the night before.

Ash Farm Polo Club

A couple of hours on the road had us arrive at a new venue for barrel racing, Ash farm polo club, in Surrey.
Plenty of riders wanted to have a go, and not only did they participate in the clinics, they all stayed on to race against the clock for bragging rights !
Madeleine stormed away with it bagging the most 1st rosettes as her times improved on every run she made. Hannah picked up the members hi-point trophy but that would've been Madeleine's if she was a member ! It shows the importance of joining as a 2025 4 Strides Member !
The jackpot class was huge with Madeleine, Lucy and Steph all pocketing some cash. As always the times and results are below and thank you for making the day an enormous success !

Herefordshire Clinic & Comp
The wonderful Amberley Court Equestrian Centre in Herefordshire never disappoints in showcasing a great days barrel racing and this day was no different. 16 horses and riders battled it out for the top spot in the races (held after the 2 morning clinics.) It was Anna who romped home with the fastest barrel time, while Lilly pocketed the fstest poles time and the Hi Point Trophy for the day (by just 1 point)
Its amazing and we are so thankfull for the level of support in 2025 with all our clinics and shows featuring 15 plus riders. Spread the word and bring your friends with you next time. A special mention goes to Erin, who was racing for the second time with us, who consistantly improved throughout each run but fell just short of the prizes with 3x 4th places ! How unlucky ! She showed great promise as a future barrel racer and we hope to see her race again with us next time !

Another rather splendid day in Lincolnshire saw yet another bumper crowd of barrel racers descend to pit their trusty steeds against the clock ! Anna had a clean sweep of the main awards of fastest barrel time, fastest pole time and hi point winner (by just 2 points) while Eva dazzled in the sun with the best dressed award.
Plenty of progress being shown already this year with times tumbling from February's results.
Don't forget, you can combine our next weekend at Lincolnshire with our Country Music Night the night prior.

The clouds parted and the sun shone on all the barrel racers and spectators. An absolutely fantastic turnout of over 18 riders plus lots of supporters, made for an extremely busy and competitive show day. See the times and results below.
Dont forget this year we host a country music event on the Saturday night before the clinics and show on Sunday so you can make a weekend of it and you are welcome to stay over.

Thank you to all who supported us at our first clinic and show of the year at Maelor Equestrian Centre Wrexham.
Lots of riders stayed to race with us in the afternoon and well done to Lilly who won the hi point trophy for being the member with the most points.

End of Season 2024 Awards
Fulbeck
Our end of season awards and Christmas Party were held in early December. The team had a great year and represented 4 Strides across the channel and of course around the UK at demonstrations.
The awards were for the accumulation of points over the seaon and it was Mary who slogged along to hunt down Greg and eventually overtake him to bag the Hi Point Poles Trophy, Hi Point Barrels Trophy & The Grand Champion Trophy. A brilliant year for Mary but who is going to challenge her in 2025 ?
